Why the brand exists

Big and fluffy dogs are largely shut out of pet fashion. Most occasion wear for dogs is cut for toy breeds, and the brands that do go large usually charge more for the larger sizes, or size by weight, which does not tell you whether a dress will close.

Fluffit was founded by Jenny Li after failing to find anything that fit her own dog. Every style is fit-tested on a real, moving dog.

The fit model

Ice Bear is a 40 lb samoyed with a 25.5 in chest. She wears a 3XL. She is the reference dog for the largest sizes, and the reason the size chart has a rule for thick coats: she measures a XXL on the tape and needs the 3XL because of her ruff.
